We do this through provision of personal finance literacy resources, training, one on one and group coaching and mentorship programs.
Our approach is not about complicated formulas or endless financial jargon. Instead, we help our clients build simple, practical financial systems they can understand and apply — no matter their income level. Through mindset shifts, debt management strategies, smart money management, and personalized guidance, we empower professionals to confidently take control of their finances, build security, and create wealth that lasts.

The Founder
Elizabeth Mbatia is the founder and lead consultant at Fintrix Consulting, with over 20 years of cross-sector experience in finance, strategy, and public service. Her career spans the telecommunications sector, not-for-profit health organizations, and public finance, where she has managed large budgets, advised on fiscal policy, and supported systems strengthening at both operational and Strategic levels.
But behind the spreadsheets and strategy decks is a deeper story, one rooted in lived experience, compassion, and a mission to change lives.
Elizabeth grew up in rural Kenya, where the promise of education and a good job was the ultimate dream. Like many, she followed that path. Yet through both personal and professional experiences, she came to a powerful realization: financial success isn’t guaranteed by a job title, it’s built through intention, clarity, and resilience.
A defining moment came early in her career when a medical emergency collided with financial unpreparedness. That wake-up call sparked a lifelong commitment to financial empowerment, and it became the seed of her coaching work.

Today, through Fintrix Consulting and her flagship program Smart Money Shift, Elizabeth helps professionals—especially those aged 30 to 50—break free from bad debt, gain money clarity, build sustainable wealth, and reclaim their peace of mind.
Beyond finance, she is also passionate about sustainable agriculture. Together with her family, she runs an agribusiness in rural Kenya that creates jobs and contributes to food security, and she is a proud member of the African Food Changemakers community.
Elizabeth believes financial freedom is not just about numbers—it’s about living with purpose, peace, and dignity. Through Fintrix, she is creating a movement of people shifting from survival mode to a life of confident financial control.
